Three Florida cities topped WalletHub’s 2016 Best and Worst Cities for “Staycations,” or vacations spent at home or nearby, with Fort Lauderdale coming in at No. 2.
The personal finance website compared 150 of the biggest U.S. cities using dozens of metrics, such as movie costs, number of restaurants per capita and number of public beaches. Fort Lauderdale ranked strongly for its number of spas and wellness centers per capita and its number of shopping centers per capita.
